Riaan Cronje Construction Manager

Since beginning my career in 1995 at Harmony Gold Mine, Investec and JCI, I have gained extensive experience and developed a reputation as an open-minded, calm and collected individual capable of overcoming any obstacle. In 2003, I took up the challenge of starting my own construction company, building many upmarket homes in Sandhurst, Ruimsig Country Estate and Bryanston. In 2007, I relished the opportunity to work on a mega construction project in Pennyville Soweto and outclassed most of my contemporaries, which opened the door to Bigen Africa. Here, I worked under highly trained professionals and gained the ability to run multiple construction sites simultaneously, including the construction of 882 Joscho Units, 800 rental homes & 2000 RDP houses for ABSA Devco, winning several Goven Mbeki awards in the process. In 2018, I joined Galencia Property Development as Director of Construction, during which time I managed the building of 156 upmarket apartments at Walford Estate Midrand, 120 upmarket houses in Fourways Mont Temblant, and the Palm View Estate. In 2019, I joined Triple 3 Group and had the unique challenge of building the Stadio Centurion University during the Covid pandemic, and recently completed the Stadio Krugersdorp Distance Learning and Distribution Project. I am grateful to have a supportive wife, Veronica, and two children whom I adore. We make time to spend together over weekends enjoying cycling and the outdoors. Back to Team
